as often as not,
I’m in a rush.

Make it a ristretto,
strong,
busy all day long.

Today, a doppio,
I drink it in one gulp,
for the energy of a wolf.

A macchiato
after my shift
will ease the fatigue.

A long shot or lungo,
for a while to savour,
aroma and flavour.

Cappuccino…
sweet and creamy,
just us, life is dreamy.
